Consulting Sessions

Consulting with Helen Hecker by phone or email -- Do you need help with your ebook, book, video, audio, or newsletter production, marketing, promoting your book, service or products, choosing mailing lists? Or need ways to save more money, boost your sales, client base, patient base, bottom line? Copywriting help?  Need online marketing help, resources, wholesale resources, advice, etc?  Need help with website building, affiliate marketing, Google AdSense, Google AdWords, etc? Who and what to believe? The best resources?  The truth? Where and how you can really make money or not! Are you selling your books online?? Review of your promotional materials, review your websites, whatever you need. And caveats.

Hecker emails or talks to, publishers and business owners every week about problems & how to solve them, brainstorms how to sell more ebooks, books, videos, audios, newsletters, products, and services, points out missed markets and opportunities, what you can piggyback, where to save your money. Just about anything related to business. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Background

Hecker has been a book publisher since 1982, past president of the NWABP Northwest Association of Book Publishers in 1986, has published books, ebooks, manuals, courses, reports, newsletters, etc.;  written articles, press releases, fliers, mail order catalogs, ebooks, etc.; produced audios, videos, DVDs; spoken at entrepreneurial conferences, writers workshops; given publishing and marketing workshops; attended hundreds of conferences around the U.S. and Canada; a former member of Dan Kennedy's Inner Circle group and interviewed by Dan Kennedy for publicity and other expertise. 

Twin Peaks Press has been front-page-featured in the Portland Business Journal & many other publications. Prior to Twin Peaks Press, Hecker has owned real estate companies (as a real estate broker) with offices in two states-- specializing in residential, commercial, and biz ops.  Listed and sold dozens of business ops giving her a major education in small business ownership. Knows profit & loss statements, leases, contracts, legalese, etc.  How businesses are run-- what worked & what didn't. 

Received national 'White Belt' awards for investing in the most properties in the shortest time. Developed "Immediate Listing Program" for new agents. Developed personal creative financing file of individual investors to help put deals together. Stock market trader. Created several companies under one roof.  Registered nurse, director of nursing, psych nurse too before all of that!  Excellent medical background-- is helpful to health and medical based clients with practices, medical companies, disability and health-related titles, etc. Broad range and background of interests, skills & abilities will help in any consulting session.

Hecker has also been the publisher & editor of Helen Hecker's Hotline in which many of her tips, trade secrets, money-saving, money-making ideas were  presented-- it was mailed to 40,000 book publishers, magazine, software and newsletter publishers, audio, DVD, video and CD ROM producers. It has since become an online newsletter. 

To make a consulting session appointment:

Email: Consulting Session Appointment in the subject line.  In the email tell us when the best times and days coming up are best for you. Whether you want phone or email back and forth in the allotted time period. There are advantages to both. So use email to MAKE the appointment.

Then: If possible send by overnight or priority mail-- all your promotional materials - fliers, brochures, press releases, business cards, press kits, website URL's,  etc.  Optional, but if not too expensive, send your books, DVDs, audiobooks, ebooks, items, products, etc. Damaged OK.   This is not mandatory if it's too costly a product -- but in some cases it's important. Optional, but send a short list of your 'burning' questions. Specify approximate time needed, half hour minimum or one hour minimum. Time will go in 15 minute increments after that. I can usually cover a lot in half an hour.  Send along your MasterCard or VISA number, expiration, name on card.  You won't be charged until after the session.

Just prior to our session I'll check your websites, quickly review your materials (no time to read the dozens of books we get in every week, although I'd like too), etc. So it helps to have a little advance knowledge about what you do. 

If you're in a hurry we can do the session without materials, advance questions, etc.  Just let us know you need it NOW. And whether by phone or email.  I am much more available by email than phone these days.

The usual caveats apply here.  I can't guarantee you'll make or save money or get rich!  We can certainly try to help.

I also continue to refer and promote my clients in every way that comes up, to help them make more money. We ay be able to link to you also from our higher page ranking sites, if appropriate.
